Did you know over 4,000 Newaygo County residents have reported having chronic mental/emotional problems? Did you know these residents have been unable to recive mental/emotional health counseling due to a lack of access to affordable insurance? 

Over the past year, because of grants and donations, we were able to help roughly 10% of these residents by offering the mental/emotional health services they have previously had to forego. This year we need YOUR help to reach even more residents!

Join us in our first Poker Chip Run on the River "Floating for Free Minds" fundraising event! All proceeds will be used to help residents of  Newaygo County and surrounding areas have access to mental health services. 

Floating for Free Minds: The object of the game is to collect the most points while floating (or paddling) down the Muskegon River to win the GRAND PRIZE! Each participant will be given many opportunities to collect points, with one stopping point along the way (for even more point collecting!). 

Lunch will be served at Anderson Flatts Boat Launch while points are calculated!

Date: July 31st 

Time: 1pm (for tubers) 1:30 (for kayakers and canoers)

Where: Begin at Train Bridge Canoe Landing (near Wisner's)

             End at: Anderson Flatts Boat Launch

Cost: $50/participant

Each participant will be given some swag and game rules before entering the river. Don't have a tube or kayak? No worries.....we have extras! If you need help with transportation, we will help you to get your vehicle to the ending location and get you back to the starting location! Just let us know!
